The Sumter Model Airplane Club is an AMA chartered model aviation club established in 1967. Our club field is located on Hwy. 378 east of Sumter, just across from Shaw Air Force base.
We have very nice field with a 250-foot grass runway. Spectators are always welcome, but for your safety, we ask that you observe all posted rules and restricted areas. AMA and club membership is required to fly. All pilots, please take a look at the notices
to the right in yellow regarding the field guidelines.
